It is up!

I am a happy, happy woman! My David Trubridge Coral lamp is up! If you are a design aficionado like I am, you might be familiar with this beauty. I first got a glance of it on Camila's blog and later I spotted it at Door Sixteen.

I bought it directly from a New Zealand vendor, and I got it in the mail less than a week later. The lamp comes unassembled, which is convenient for shipping purposes. But to put it together is a challenge that is easy for some and more than difficult for others. I am not declaring in which camp I am standing, suffice to say that the lamp is assembled and hanging!

This image is more of a tribute to the lamp and its shadow play on the wall. I still need to take some images of the lamp in context... and I will... promise. I just need to finish hanging the artwork in the hall and building the bar area right underneath the lamp! TO DO lists... don't you love them?

Inspiration no more

I am not giving up on creativity, inspiration or random aha moments. I am just glad that all the collecting, archiving and lusting after images of beautiful picture arrangements have come together in one of my walls. I am still inspired, how can I not? Take a look at some of the images in my collection...

The Following two images are of my own house. Lots of color on these images, but there is plenty of white too. What do you think?

Mirror, mirror on the wall...

Today I am looking for the reflection of light in all the right places. I am searching for the perfect mirror, and while I wait, I figured I could collect some of my favorites in my Pinboard. Aren't these gorgeous?
