The idea was to take a picture of the street crossing for my "white" color... but this was so much more interesting. The white is there though! It was fun to find white, now to another color...

I know that everyone and their mother are taking pictures of dandelions, but it is quite a sublime subject don't you think? It reminds me of childhood and wishes. I took many pictures, and I am showing you my two favorites. The one on the left is a little blurred, but that is exactly what I like about it, it is like a dream. The one on the right is just too perfect to be true. My first diptych!

We went to the Amalfi coast for a much needed holiday and some sun. Lots to see and photograph, great views and wonderful people... and the food? Don't get me started with the food... This beauty adorned the hotel room where we stayed. I want one just like it...

Happy Mother's Day to all, even if you didn't celebrate today, it is always nice to hear it. Right?
A snapshot of one of my projects. Only the basecoat has been applied to it, but the shape is so sculptural it makes for a wonderful subject. Weird angle, I know, but it has an anthropomorphic quality that I like.

This old row boat found a new life as a garden ornament by Lago Maggiore. A cropped version of a very bad take. I like this better, it is abstract and full of texture.
