#59 Mismatch

Red as a warning in a construction site. The nail becomes the picture, doesn't it?
I'm flying to Colombia tomorrow. I don't know if I will be able to post from there, but I will keep on taking pictures...
Happy holidays!

#58 Behind the gate

A hint, a peek, a blast of color behind an exhuberant gate. Look at me, look at me!

#57 Composition

This is the kind of image that I love. You take something familiar, you crop it, and you create a new composition. This particular window had so many elements to play with, that it was easy to get a beautiful result. I like this shot, I like it a lot.

#56 Make a wish

To be back in London! Red everywhere, and people, people, people, everywhere you go. Faces, cultures clashing and converging. London? I dig London.

#55 Complementary kiwi

Our neighbor, a sweet boy of 18, has a green thumb. In the summer there are the sweet tomatoes, the onions and the zuchinni, in the fall we get lots and lots of kiwi. He brought them inside a red bucket, don't they look incredible?

Yes! December is here!!! My favorite month of the year (I am a December baby, so all my happy memories are associated with the holidays). I decided to play more with the camera and see what it can do. I like this blurry result.

#52 Number two

A good transition photo, as November (green) is ending and December (red) begins. As usual, on Mondays I look back to images stored, as I never have time to go out with the camera. I am looking forward to all the beautiful red, warm, bright red that will come this way.

Grey and rainy today. I didn't go to far to capture my color of the day. A quiet day at home, listening to the rain on the roof.

#50 Green in Brunello

The window and the building are not beautiful, but the choice of color brings a certain happiness to it. As the italians say: trucco which means trick, which is the word they use for make-up. You have to love it!

A little tired of green... who would have thought? There is a little green in here... but the other colors seem so vibrant... I wonder what color December will be...

What a beautiful contrast! I really like the composition and the somehow abstract result. The gate on its own is nothing outstanding, but then, if you look close enough...

What is it about pictures from above? It is interesting how three dimensionality flattens, and geometry plays with our perception. I guess you can not take the architect out of the girl...

When I walk down the hill from my house, the first thing I see is this abandoned house. I have wanted to capture its decrepit state for years. I ventured to the main door, pass the fence... I have to go back and get some TTV images. Beautiful.

#16 Shades of Brown

Brown does not have to be dark. I love this image, it is almost like an abstract painting... most of my pictures are... I get so close that scale reference is lost, and all I am left with is color and shape. I am learning a lot about myself with this project. Half way through brown... I wonder what the next color will bring.
